Huobi Hong Kong Withdraws License Application for the Second Time

Hong Kong’s securities regulators says HBGL Hong Kong Limited withdrew its application for a license on February 23.
The Bharat Web3 Association’s (BWA) Chairman wrote the letter to the Indian government on Dec. 16.
Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, Kraken, Gate.io, Bittrex, Bitstamp, MEXC Global and Bitfinex are the nine exchanges.
Both exchanges lost a combined total of more than $200 million in a series of hacks last month.
Huobi token [HT], the native token of cryptocurrency exchange HTX, has surged to a five-month high of $2.95 following a rapid increase in trading volume.
HTX, formerly Huobi, has been hacked with the total loss totaling 500 ether (ETH) worth around $8 million, according to HTX advisor and Tron founder Justin Sun.
