Micron to pay dividends this month; Here’s how much 100 MU shares will receive

The final Micron (NASDAQ: MU) dividend of 2026 is coming later this month, when the technology company is once again going to reward its shareholders with some passive income.

Specifically, fourth-quarter Micron stock dividend has been declared to be paid on October 29, 2026, with the ex-dividend date as of October 14.

As in the previous quarter, Micron shareholders will receive $0.15 for each share they hold, meaning 100 MU shares are going to net a total of $15 in the final quarter of 2026.

With Micron stock trading around $1,088, a 100-share position would currently be worth approximately $108,800. That means the upcoming $15 dividend represents a quarterly cash yield of roughly 0.014% on a 100-share position at that price.

Looking at the figure, it is obvious that Micron’s dividend remains relatively small compared with the stock’s market value. However, the company has nevertheless raised its quarterly payout to $0.15 in 2026 from $0.115 in 2025, giving investors hope the number could go up even more next year.

Micron dividend 2026

As of October 9, the company offers a dividend yield of 0.06%, significantly below the 1.37% average yield for technology stocks. However, this highlights the fact that Micron is primarily viewed as a growth stock rather than a traditional income investment.

Indeed, its forward payout ratio stands at just 0.35%, indicating that only a very small portion of the company’s earnings is currently being returned to shareholders through dividends.

Likewise, the next dividend follows reports of a record fiscal 2026. Notably, the company reported $133.19 billion in full-year revenue and $84.97 billion in GAAP net income, while fourth-quarter revenue reached record levels amid strong demand for memory used in artificial intelligence (AI) and data-center applications.

As MU shares have also surged sharply over the past year, the recent financial results also prompted a wave of bullish Micron stock price revisions, which argued the market has not yet fully grasped the chipmaker’s long-term potential.
