Wall Street analyst sets Amazon (AMZN) stock price for next 12 months

Although Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) stock price has fallen by more than 11% since it hit an all-time high on August 3, 2026, trading at $255.39 on October 6, Shyam Patil, a Wall Street analyst at Susquehanna, expects a rally towards a peak over the next 12 months.

Patil reiterated a positive rating for Amazon stock, according to a note sent to clients on Tuesday. He also maintained the firm’s 12-month price target for AMZN at $325, thereby signaling a possible 27.26% upside.

This bullish thesis is based on the company’s strong momentum in full-funnel advertising, where sponsored search, Artificial Intelligence (AI) shopping, and Demand-Side Platform integration expand the growth runway.

The reaffirmed rating for Amazon stock also reflects its robust consumer resilience leading into the holiday season, supported by constructive participation in Prime Big Deal Days and anticipated budget allocation for Cyber Week.

While elevated gas prices and consumer health concerns present minor macroeconomic risks, Patil is confident AMZN stands to benefit from the AI boom and the upcoming end-of-year festivities.
